MTN Digital Infrastructure has signed an MOU with Seekr to collaborate on integrating AI capabilities into its Data Centre ecosystem
RESTON, VA and DUBAI, U.A.E., October 16, 2025 — Seekr Technologies (“Seekr”), US-headquartered, leading artificial intelligence company, and MTN Digital Infrastructure (commercially known as Bayobab), an MTN Group company specialising in next-generation connectivity and solutions across Fibre, data centres, and communication platforms, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to unlock AI-driven insights for enterprise enablement and public sector transformation.
Independent analysis from SAP estimates that AI could add US$1.5 trillion to Africa’s economy by 2030. The partnership aims to translate this potential into tangible value for businesses, governments, and communities by accelerating the integration of AI capabilities into Africa’s digital infrastructure.
The SeekrFlow AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) platform will enable MTN Digital Infrastructure to quickly and cost-effectively deploy and scale AI models that will augment and enhance existing and future digital and connectivity services. The partnership is focused on opportunities to enable digital governance, citizen engagement, and public safety in the public sector, while unlocking AI-driven insights for financial services, logistics, and energy in the enterprise space leveraging MTN Digital Infrastructure Data Centers Investment Programs.
