Mazen Mroué has over 25 years of senior and executive management experience in Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Digital Services, gained across diverse markets in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

Effective 1 January 2025, Mazen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTN Digital Infrastructure to lead Bayobab’s Fixed Infrastructure and Communication platforms businesses, while driving the execution of MTN’s Data Centre strategy.

Since joining MTN in 1998, Mazen has held several senior positions, including CEO, COO, and CTIO roles across various operating companies. He also serves as a board member for multiple companies within the MTN Group.

Mazen holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, Intellectual Systems, and Networks. Additionally, he is certified in Leadership Development from Harvard Business School and Executive Finance from INSEAD.
