Dubai, UAE and Maputo, Mozambique – 10 February 2026 – MTN Digital Infrastructure, commercially trading as Bayobab, and TMCEL, one of Mozambique’s leading mobile network operators, have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen Mozambique’s international connectivity.
TMCEL has selected Bayobab as the preferred provider to support and manage its international communication services, providing end-to-end management.
Under the agreement, TMCEL will leverage Bayobab’s global communication platforms, including International Voice, International Roaming, and IPX, to deliver advanced, scalable and high-quality services for their consumers and enterprises. The collaboration will help people stay connected when calling internationally and enable seamless cross-border connectivity.
